‘Americano (SK)’ is one half of the ‘Americano’ series which illustrates a portrait of an unknown individual to many but a specific person to a few.  Regardless of this, the sitter’s anonymity somehow creates a sense of familiarity between the sitter and the viewer, one which many café goers and coffee lovers can identify with; an image which could possibly resemble that of a friends perhaps a reflection of one’s self.
