Hand painted acrylic on reclaimed wood. My passion is using acrylics on reclaimed wood as I feel this gives life to an otherwise discarded piece of nature. I initially burn my subject into the wood, using a hot burning tool before I use the acrylics. My inspiration with this painting comes out of my love for coffee and how I feel we should think more about how and where it comes from and the hardships people have to go through just to bring us our coffee.
