"Fresh Cup"
Oil on linen on board
9” x 6”

Every morning when I mix colors for whatever project I have at hand one of the essential ingredients in the process is a fresh cup of coffee. It sits next to my palette with as much authority as the tubes of paint, the medium and the brushes. It’s quite possible I wouldn’t know where to begin without that cup sitting there. I don’t know I haven’t tried that yet. I lack the courage to even consider.
