Five Embellished Coffee Rings is a lasting imprint created from the stains that are left behind when a coffee cup hits the table. A symbol of the coffee consumer's common nuisance is transformed into a signature, an organic and individualised embellishment. Nina has used a combination of materials that both enhance (gold leaf, inks), and that destroy, leaving questions regarding the residue of everyday life that is left behind every action.
