This photography expresses my connection to the coffee shop where contact is made, stories told, love found (or lost), work discussed, gossip created across class and ethnicity.  Creativity arises, scribblings, work on commissioned images or mere reflection.
Here, I meet school mums, or photographers for “twitter sessions” or take my son for hot chocolate, where inspiration finds a venue and the five senses are overwhelmed.
Snippets of strangers' lives while queuing or sharing a table; relationships built or broken, all to the cacophony of barista machines. My aim is to recreate the experience by piling layer upon layer of meaning, repetitively, randomly and chaotically.
