"My Cup Runneth Over"

Variable – approx. 1.5 x 1m x 25cm

This piece developed from considering where people interact and exchange the most in an area.  I came to the conclusion
that the café is it.  So I chose the form of a cup and moulded cups out of my own receipts, thus revealing where I shop. 
I am very aware that as I have all the food, shelter and company that I need, anything more is a bonus and so ‘my cup
runneth over’.  The cup forms ‘grow’ from the wall, representing the social bonds that form through this gathering
around coffee.
