The man in my painting instantly caught my eye when I first saw him. His eyes and expression made me stop and think. I hope that you are reading this now because you saw my painting and it made you stop, look, read and think. For me, and I think this goes for you too, access to water is not something I ever doubt. A cup of coffee is a cup of comfort, a glass of water a way to quench our thirst. For some people a glass of water keeps you alive just one more day. And it is for these people I sat down with my cup of coffee beside me and made this painting.
