Kiosk Barista
Oil on canvas
24.5 x 30.5 cm
Embarking on this project, I was struck by the portability and mass availability of coffee – seeing people
everywhere in London walking around carrying coffee-on-the-go from various coffee establishments.
My painting focuses on a railway station coffee kiosk, viewing through the plexi-glass to the Barista within.
He’s able to fulfil so many people’s needs, from within his small environment. You needn’t go anywhere
without a good cup of coffee.
I was particularly taken with the light reflections in the small space.
