This piece uses a relaxed image that was originally taken in a coffee shop, reflective of coffee and coffee shops being
used for enjoyment and leisure purposes. The title is inspired by the dreamy expression and pose of the subject. I usually
weather my work using natural and deliberate means, and with this piece I have weathered the work using coffee and
used coffee grounds to emphasise the connection to coffee and coffee shops. This was done both before and after
embroidering the canvas. The background has been built up using layers of coffee poured directly onto the canvas.
