This piece is a mixture of hand stitch, acrylic, machine stitch, bleach print, pen studies and block print on wallpaper,
plastic and found materials. It is, for the most part, a collection of experimental samples which I fitted together by using
similar colours and shades. I was inspired by everyday life in a cafe and I also loved the shapes of coffee cups, the
design of coffee logos and the setup of various cafes throughout Belfast, therefore I decided to capture the essence of
cafes by creating this two-dimensional collage which pieced everything together.
