‘Yallah Coffee Roasters’ Workshop’ is part of an ongoing series documenting crafters’ and artists’ place of work. The series, which acts as an ongoing anthropological investigation, currently totals around 60. The drawing shows a day in a Cornish independent coffee roastery. The detailed layering and repetition of line depicts the passage of time and movement in the process of production. My aim is to show the craft behind the product and to humanise the work behind the coffee we drink.
