I have tried to represent a look of hope in the woman’s face, as she looks back to the seeds she planted, hoping that the water will flow and give life. The seeds around her neck, for her, is a reminder of this hope. To me this shows how something we all take for granted is vital to others. So, when we drink our cups of coffee, we should know that her hope was fulfilled that year…
