The drawing tries to give a look at the history of coffee starting from the morphological representation of the plant and its fruits, the origin of its importation and commercialization from Ethiopia to Yemen, through a mapping of the routes which originated its diffusion for spiritual use, and touching the possible relationships between the so called third wave of coffee (which is spreading the coffee culture in large scale) as a possible index of the gentrification in different boroughs of London in the last 15 years. Images, maps, routes, graphs and words emerge and dissolve on the sheet as they are between mark and residual without doing any apparent distinction.
