I have been drawing scenes in coffee shops for many years, setting myself at a table with a good cup of coffee and an arsenal of ink makers. Here, a man sits pensively, a bag of shopping at his feed, absorbing the music and ambiance of this interior for a respite, resting and gathering energies before facing the busy evening of the metropolis of London outside.
