The inspiration for my painting “Wide Awake” comes from the first moment in the morning when you take a sip of fresh brew coffee and a burst of energy goes through you at the start of your day. For myself I drink about four cups of coffee a day to help with my creative flow to create many of my art pieces.
This is a painting on a starch linen canvas. I’ve used acrylic paint and Golden gel to create an abstract painting. Then I coated the painting with a Liquitex high gloss varnish.
