I started experimenting with coffee as a medium a few years ago.  I instantly feel in love with the level of detail I was able to achieve using a water based painting medium.  As I painted I wanted to connect the medium of coffee to the audience.  Seattle is a community brought together by love of coffee and the important connection it has to the Puget Sound as a water source.  The Public Market is a favorite location among the locals where the community gathers together with tourists located just across the street from the original Starbucks location.
