This image represents a possible victim of the manufacture of Kopi Luwak Coffee, one of the most expensive types of coffee in the world, made of the feces of the animal. A simple cup of espresso can cost up to $75. 
The reason I chose to paint this is because I truly believe that animals can bring the best and the worst out of humans. A dog could be the light of your life - what if it was being used inhumanely for profit? Would we care if our dogs ended up like the Asian Civet Cat, stuck in a cage and restricted to a vegetarian diet despite being a carnivore, all for the sake of coffee?
