"Through the Coffee Stain"

This postcard features a vase of flowers at a flower shop/cafe in Stoke Newington, North London. The brush strokes give the piece an unfinished look especially the coffee stain from the cup I drank from - the piece is simple and captures my prospective at this coffee shop in the summer. It also hints at my love for travelling to new cities and unearthing different cultures and capturing both the pretty and gritty elements of a city. It almost feels like I have grown in coffee shops as a person as well, and the coffee shop has become my extended family.
